Short version: Octordle Game has no accounts, sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts. This page explains the details.

What we collect

We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal detail to play. The site has no login, no sign-up and no comments. The word finder only filters words inside your browser.

What stays on your device

Your browser stores a few small items in local storage so the game can remember you:

• Your current daily and unlimited games.
• Your stats and streak.
• Your theme and colorblind settings.

These items never leave your device. Clearing your site data removes them, and your stats and streak reset with them.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Hosts use these logs to run the service and keep it secure. We do not use them to identify you.

Analytics and advertising

The site currently runs no analytics and no ads. If that changes, we will update this policy first and give you the choices the law requires in your region.

Third parties

The pages load no third-party scripts, fonts or images. If you email us, your message passes through our email provider, and we use it only to answer you.

Children

The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Because we hold no personal data about players on our servers, there is usually nothing to delete except emails you have sent us. Write to contact@octordlegame.org and we will remove them on request.
